Account and payment ownership
PokerStars Verification: Submit the Right Evidence Once
Verification can cover both the person and the payment route. Follow the request shown in the account instead of sending a generic bundle of personal documents.

An identity request checks the account holder. A payment-method request checks ownership of the bank, wallet or card used for transactions. The evidence for one does not automatically satisfy the other.
Copy the exact request text and deadline before uploading anything. This prevents an irrelevant document from starting another review.
- Identity
- Residential address
- Payment ownership
- Source-of-funds request if specifically stated
Match the account fields
The full name and address on the evidence should match the PokerStars profile. Resolve spelling, moved-address or joint-account differences through support rather than altering the document.
Use a recent statement where requested and keep the issuing institution's name visible. Do not include transaction history when the instructions say it is unnecessary.
Mask sensitive information correctly
PokerStars' payment-verification guidance says card evidence should expose only permitted leading and trailing digits. Never reveal the full card number or security code.
Screenshots should be legible, show the required account identifiers and retain the visible app or website context when requested.
- All four document corners
- Issue date
- Holder name
- Permitted account digits only
Save the upload confirmation
Keep the filename, upload time and confirmation screen. If rejected, ask which field was absent or unreadable before submitting a replacement.
When login is unavailable, use the official contact form identified by PokerStars rather than an address copied from an unofficial site.
PokerStars account questions
Can I show the full card number for verification?
No. Follow the masking instructions and never expose the full number or security code.
Why is a bank screenshot rejected?
Common causes include an absent holder name, hidden account identifier, old issue date, unreadable image or mismatch with the account profile.
